League Park and Cleveland Sports History
June 19, 2018 @ 7:00 pm - 8:00 pm
For more than half a century, League Park, at the corner of East 66th Street and Lexington Avenue, was the center of the Cleveland sports scene and one of sports’ most important venues. Built for the Cleveland Spiders of the National League, the ballpark was home for the Cleveland Indians, the Cleveland Rams of the NFL and the Cleveland Buckeyes of the Negro Leagues. Come listen to local author Vince Guerrieri talk about this storied park.
