Canadian born John Gladstone “Jack” Graney was a “man of firsts” so it is fitting his is our first program in our series on the 1920’s team. He was the first player to hit off a young pitcher named Babe Ruth. He was the owner of the first major league mascot, Larry,. He was the first player turned broadcaster.
Jack’s daughter, Margot Graney Mudd, and granddaughter Perry Mudd Smith will join us via technology to share personal remembrances.
This program is free and open to the public thanks to the support of Cuyahoga Arts and Culture.
