Rollins played nine seasons in the majors, most notably as the third baseman for the Twins during their 1965 pennant-winning season. An All-Star in 1962, he was known for his sure glove, steady bat, and quiet leadership. His dedication to the game never faded, and his path from sandlot standout to MLB regular remains a powerful reminder of where big-league dreams begin.
